To apply for the Remaining Relative Visa, candidates must:
- Be the remaining relative of an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen
- Have an eligible sponsor who is your:
- Parent
- Step-parent
- Sibling
- Step-sibling
- Or an eligible partner of your relative
- Meet Australia’s health and character requirements
