Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa applicants can include their partners in their applications, but not their dependent children. Immigration New Zealand stipulates that dependent children must apply for their own visas.
To include partners, visa applicants must submit evidence of their relationship with their partner and show that their partner meets the identity, character and health requirements of the Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa.
New Zealand citizens and residents can act as sponsors for their parents and grandparents overseas to visit them in New Zealand. The Parents and Grandparents Visitor Visa lets visa holders visit their family for up to six months at a time, with a maximum stay of 18 months in three years.
